Job Summary:
The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological testing and evaluation of children and adults, completing assessment reports, providing individual, family, couples and/or group therapy and maintaining all appropriate documentation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts psychological testing and evaluations of adults and children
- Conducts assessment intake appointments to determine appropriateness of client for assessment within company’s scope of practice.
- Selects appropriate assessment materials to conduct psychological evaluations.
- Completes written reports and provide accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
- Provides individual, family, couples and/or group therapy.
- Provide accurate diagnosis and engage in treatment planning using appropriate interventions based on each client’s needs
- Use collaborative documentation to appropriately document client’s sessions in company HER.
- Stay up to date on legal ethical regulations related to their license
Required Skills/Abilities:
- ·Ability in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological tests, specifically objective, projective, and neurological test batteries.
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated skill in clinical interviewing.
- Demonstrated skills in consultation and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Graduated from accredited university
- Experience with children and adults
- Must be willing to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Grasp of basic technology, including but not limited to: Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive and Zoom
- Comfortable and experienced with telehealth
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Bilingual or multilingual (Spanish, Farsi, Armenian)
- Experience with online platforms Doxy and Theranest
Education and Experience:
- Registered with the California Board of Psychology as Psychologist
- At least 1 year experience with psychological testing
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting of at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Compensation:
- Full time - $88,000 to $125,000 per year plus benefits (401k, paid vacation, health insurance, wellness program and more)
- Part time - $85 to $120 per hour
