Meet Brian, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who doesn’t think you're crazy. Who believes you (and in you). And who believes whatever difficulties you’re going through does not have to be this way, even if it’s all you've ever known. Brian works under the supervision of our psychologists and LMFTs. Brian holds an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology and a B.A. from UCLA.
Brian’s approach always addresses the needs of the client first, recognizing the potential for flourishing in their unique way. He is not afraid of leaving ample space and time, nor afraid of uncomfortable emotions or conversations while still creating a safe space. He utilizes an array of therapeutic modalities including CBT, EFT, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help those with relational distress, life changes, anxiety, and depression. He recognizes how grief, attachment wounds, and trauma play into a client’s distress, as well as greater systemic issues.
Brian has a particular interest with couples who are wanting to break negative cycles. He also has an understanding of and interest in immigrant family/cross generational dynamics, men (particularly those who've never had therapy), artistic-leaning clients, religious trauma, and anyone who simply needs to be seen. He loves being a dad and brings a unique perspective of starting a new career later in life, blending worldly experience with a fresh vigor.
His experience has led to many positive outcomes for his clients and is looking forward to walking with you in your journey to wholeness.
